About Andrew Cushin

Andrew Cushin has swiftly established himself as one of the most compelling voices in contemporary British rock. Hailing from Newcastle, he gained early recognition from acclaimed artists such as Noel Gallagher, Pete Doherty, Sam Fender, and Louis Tomlinson. Cushin’s debut album, "Waiting For The Rain" (2022), captured widespread attention by holding the number one spot for three weeks on the Official Independent Album Breakers Chart and securing Top 10 placements on both the Independent Albums and Record Store Charts.

Beyond his studio success, Cushin has built an impressive reputation as a live performer. Notably, he became the youngest Geordie to sell out Newcastle City Hall, drawing 4,500 fans over two consecutive nights—a milestone that cemented his hometown hero status. He also headlined the prominent outdoor Tyne of the Mouth Festival, further showcasing his magnetic stage presence.

In 2023, Cushin released his sophomore album, "Love Is For Everyone," produced by Gareth Nuttall, known for elevating acts like The K’s and Lottery Winners to chart prominence. This follow-up album expands Cushin’s musical horizons, blending his expressive vocals and deeply personal songwriting with a richer, more diverse sonic palette. The record marks a confident leap toward mainstream recognition, firmly positioning Andrew Cushin as a rising force in British singer-songwriter circles and an artist to watch in the evolving landscape of rock music.
