About Danny L Harle

Danny L Harle is a British music producer and composer celebrated for his trailblazing role in shaping contemporary pop and electronic music. A founding member of the London-based PC Music collective, he helped popularize the hyperpop genre with his unique blend of classical composition and cutting-edge electronic production. Harle’s formal training under Julian Anderson at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama deeply informs his work, allowing him to infuse orchestral sophistication into vibrant, forward-thinking beats.

Harle gained widespread recognition with singles like "Broken Flowers," which topped the UK Club Chart and earned a coveted A-list spot on BBC Radio 1, and "Super Natural," featuring Carly Rae Jepsen. His visionary approach extends to collaborations with major artists such as Charli XCX, Caroline Polachek, Clairo, Rina Sawayama, Lil Uzi Vert, and Nile Rodgers. Notably, he co-executively produced Caroline Polachek’s critically acclaimed 2019 album "Pang," which received praise from The Guardian, Dazed, and other music publications.

In 2021, Danny L Harle released "Harlecore" via Mad Decent, an ambitious concept album that simulates a vibrant virtual rave with four fictional DJs. The project features collaborations with Hudson Mohawke and Polachek, exemplifying Harle’s innovative storytelling and production style. With a career marked by genre-defying creativity and influential partnerships, Danny L Harle continues to redefine modern pop music’s landscape.
