About A State Of Mind

A State Of Mind is a dynamic UK-based hip-hop collective recognized for their authentic lyricism and soulful, jazz-infused production. Emerging from the underground scene, the group is anchored by the evocative rhyme skills of GT Lovecraft and FP Funky Poet, paired with meticulously crafted beats by Rhino Music. Their signature sound blends thought-provoking storytelling with head-nodding grooves, reflecting a deep respect for the golden era of hip-hop while pushing creative boundaries.

Signed to the acclaimed Chinese Man Records family, A State Of Mind has released critically praised projects that explore themes such as personal growth, cultural identity, and the complexities of modern life. Their music resonates with both hip-hop purists and newer audiences, thanks to its clever wordplay and socially conscious messages. The collective’s connection to the Clouds In A Headlock crew further cements their role within a network of forward-thinking artists shaping today’s alternative rap landscape.

Continuing to evolve, A State Of Mind is set to launch their ŌFFKILTR merchandise line in winter 2024, deepening their engagement with fans through tangible artistic expressions. With a commitment to integrity and innovative soundscapes, they remain a compelling force in contemporary hip-hop, bridging tradition and modernity with every release.
