About Technasia

Technasia, initially formed in 1996 in Hong Kong as a duo by Charles Siegling and Amil Khan, has become a formidable name in the global electronic dance music scene. With roots aimed at highlighting Southeast Asia's electronic landscape, Technasia quickly gained recognition for their innovative fusion of techno inspired by legends such as Yellow Magic Orchestra, Depeche Mode, and Einstuerzende Neubauten. Their acclaimed tracks, including "Oxide," "2 The Floor," "Final Quadrant," and "Hydra," along with influential albums like *Future Mix* (2000) and *Popsoda* (2003), helped cement their unique sound.

Beyond producing and DJing, Technasia expanded their influence through the Sino label, nurturing talents like Joris Voorn, Christian Smith, and Dosem, playing a key role in artist management and bookings. After Amil Khan retired from the project in 2008 to focus on family, Charles Siegling continued Technasia as a solo endeavor. His dynamic performances have earned residencies at iconic venues such as Tokyo’s Womb, Brussels’ Fuse, Barcelona’s Nitsa, and Paris’ renowned Rex Club.
