About Polygonia

Polygonia is the multidisciplinary music and art project spearheaded by Munich-based artist Lindsey Wang. Drawing on a strong background in acoustic instruments and a deep appreciation for cultural diversity, Polygonia crafts a rich and genre-defying soundscape that blends elements of techno, breakbeat, bass music, house, electro, IDM, and grey area styles. This unique fusion creates an organic, mystical atmosphere marked by intricate rhythms inspired by nature’s dynamic patterns.

Polygonia’s acclaimed releases—such as the *Otro Mundo* EP (2023) on Bambe and the 2025 album *Dream Horizons* on Dekmantel—showcase her ability to balance emotive textures with powerful, bass-driven energy. Her dynamic DJ and live performances are known for adapting fluidly to their environment, moving effortlessly from deep, reflective moments to intense, dancefloor-ready sets. She has earned a reputation within Europe’s electronic scene, regularly appearing at iconic venues like Tresor and Berghain, alongside holding a residency at Munich’s prominent BLITZ club since 2023.

Beyond her solo endeavors, Polygonia is a co-founder of the IO collective and label (2018) and launched her own imprint, QEONE, in 2022. Her collaborative projects extend to the electric jazz trio Lyder, formed in 2021 with Niklas Bühler and Moritz Stahl, and ongoing work with jazz drummer Simon Popp, exploring the intersection between electronic music and jazz. In 2025, she further expanded her innovative footprint by co-founding audio software company DSP Dealer, solidifying her role as a forward-thinking force in contemporary electronic music.
