Chicago Soul Spectacular has partnered with Rashada Dawan and the Fever Originals Candlelight series to bring their re-imagined Black History Month Show to Salvage One's hidden courtyard! Prepare to take in soulful, jazz sounds while being surrounded by a comfortable, candlelit rooftop setting. You are in store for an exciting setlist including iconic jazz and jazz influenced soul numbers which will weave together the story of the African American experience in modern music and how it shaped American history. Developed around the beat of the drum, this is a heartfelt and uplifting program that shows how African rhythms came to inform American music.
