Jazz by Candlelight transforms Houston’s most beautiful venues into intimate jazz clubs, bathing the space in candlelight to provide the perfect backdrop for some sublime jazzy sounds. Local jazz musicians will be playing a tribute to the works of American jazz trumpeter, bandleader, and composer Miles Davis. One of the most influential acclaimed figures in the history of jazz and 20th-century music, Davis adopted a variety of musical directions in a five-decade career that kept him at the forefront of many major stylistic developments in jazz. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a history lesson on one of the most influential and acclaimed figures in the world of jazz.
