Description
Running through the heart of London; the River Thames has played a central role in the history of the city, and when the tide is low, the capital’s longest archaeological site is revealed. We will have about 1h 30mins on the foreshore at low tide, before spending about 20mins identifying and dating your objects. We meet outside Tower Hill Tube Station - please text or email me to arrange a time. The days we can go down onto the foreshore depend on the tides. We will look for historical objects along a stretch of the foreshore. You won't be allowed to scrape or dig, just pick up items off the surface.Gloves and bags to put your items in will be provided.
Terms and conditions: For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours in advance of the start date of the experience.
