Description
The MET's magical arts tour, gone virtual! Look at places and spaces in the Metropolitan Museum that might remind you of those in a famous school for witches and wizards as well as in a wizardβs village, both from a famous fantasy series. You will explore a magical part of a city hiding in plain sight; look at a room from an actual castle; see whatβs in some potions bottles; and check out objects that look like they could hold dark magic. Search out weird magical creatures, discuss dragons in depth, and root for precocious young wizards fighting some dastardly dark forces. Along the way, you will do some activities, make connections between the art and the fantasy stories, and see if you can defeat one Very Bad Guy!
