Description
The Little Museum of Dublin is where history lets its hair down. Famous for its 29-minute guided tours, the museum combines history, comedy, and storytelling with some of the friendliest guides in Ireland.

Located in a Georgian townhouse at 15 St Stephen’s Green in the heart of Dublin, the Little Museum is the people’s museum of the city. Its permanent collection of more than 5,000 objects has been built through donations from the Irish public. Highlights include former Irish President Mary McAleese’s First Holy Communion rosary beads, the lectern used by John F. Kennedy during his historic address to the Irish parliament, and Tara’s Palace – one of the world’s largest dollhouses. The museum also features a permanent exhibition dedicated to legendary Irish rock stars U2.

In 2026, TripAdvisor’s Best of the Best awards ranked the Little Museum of Dublin number 7 in Europe and number 12 in the world, placing the independent museum alongside internationally renowned attractions including the Louvre Museum, Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Van Gogh Museum.

The Little Museum is open seven days a week. Entry is by guided tour only, and advance booking is recommended.
