Skip the Line: Austin Zoo - General Admission Ticket

Overview: We currently have over 300 animals, representing more than 100 different species. Our animal collection includes animals from other facilities that are being retired due to age, health or other issues; animals that were seized in animal cruelty cases; retired laboratory research animals; and individuals’ exotic pets they needed to rehome due to changes in the owner’s lifestyle or the inability to provide appropriate care for these pets.

Austin Zoo is a nonprofit zoo located at the southwest edge of Austin in the beautiful Texas Hill Country with a focus on caring for rescued exotic animals. Austin Zoo's mission is to assist animals in need through rescue, rehabilitation and education.

• Zoo guests walk a one way trail through Zoo. Reptile House, restroom building and Gift Shop building are closed. Gift Shop temporarily relocated to open air Peacock Barn venue with merchandise on view, but not able to be touched by guests. No animal feeding. Train has dividers between seat rows.
