Description
Welcome to the Sweet Tooth Hotel in Dallas! Explore eleven colorfully immersive installations, created with more than two million feet of yarn. As you walk from room to room, new adventures await you in this exhibit created by some of the top female fiber artists in the nation. Intangible will showcase some of the top fiber artists from around the United States, including yarn-bomb extraordinaire London Kaye (Los Angeles, CA), Fiber Artist Niki Dionne (Dallas, TX), Muralist and Illustrator Alli Koch (Dallas, TX), Fiber Artist Jackie Lawrence (Denton, TX), Installation Fiber Artist and Yarn Bomber Hannah Busekrus (Austin, TX), Crochet Designer Twinkie Chan (San Francisco, CA), Textile Designer Molly Sydnor (Dallas, TX), Sally Ackerman, co-founder of Dallas Yarn Bombers (Dallas, TX) and Knit Artist Joanna Lin (Dallas, TX). Each artist has been given a dedicated space to create their own whimsical fairytale world completely made from fiber. In addition, there's a new outdoor cafe seating and you can't miss our Stay Sweet Candy Bar serving up boozy and non-boozy drinks and treats with a digital menu for contactless ordering. You can buy drinks like The Sweet Tooth (whipped cream vodka chilled topped with champagne, a pink sprinkles rim and cotton candy), or the Cotton Candy Fizz (made with your choice of orange, banana, strawberry or blueberry cotton candy, and melted into a delicious person soda.. it can also be made boozy). So come on down to the Sweet Tooth Hotel for a day of art, treats and fun!
