Every holiday season, Evergy Festival of Lights transforms Powell Gardens into a botanically inspired winter wonderland. Bundle up with family and friends for a stroll along a lighted outdoor path and enjoy the Gardens in their most festive season.

🎶 Enjoy select live concerts in the Marjorie Powell Allen Chapel

🫖Add the Marry Maker Workshop: Only available on December 5th and 12th. Choose a 16-inch furry friend, stuff it with love, pick out their name, and take them home.

The festival is closed on Thanksgiving Eve and Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

Included with Admission
🎄 Santa’s Workshop
November 27-28, December 4-5, 11-12, and 18-19, 5:00-9:00 p.m. in the Children’s Garden.

Mrs. Claus joins Santa for story times on Saturdays, November 28 and December 5, 12, and 19.

Guests can write letters to Santa and make a free holiday craft.

Complimentary chocolates will be available for Santa’s visitors while supplies last.

December 21-22, 6:00-9:00 p.m.

Pose on the sleigh with reindeer nearby and bring your camera.

Photo opportunities are limited, so arrive early. Please do not pet or feed the reindeer.
