In short Terms of use of the Early Bird Vouchers

The Early Bird Vouchers will be valid for redemption against the contracted services from the date the park effectively opens to the public and for a period of sixty (60) calendar days from that date.

The Early Bird Vouchers are non-refundable, except in the cases expressly provided for in these terms or where the right to a refund is enforceable under applicable regulations.

The park is expected, on an estimated basis, to open during the first half of 2027. However, this date may change. If the park has not opened to the public before 1 September 2027, the buyer may request a full refund of the amounts paid for the Early Bird Voucher.

If not redeemed or used within the stated period, the Early Bird Voucher will automatically lose its validity and will not entitle the holder to any refund.

When and where will Gemswell open?
Gemswell Surf Madrid will open in spring 2027 next to the Metropolitano, 15 minutes from the centre of Madrid. Exact location: Google Maps.
What does the experience offer?
It will be the largest wave lagoon in Europe. Powered by Wavegarden technology as a technological guarantee within a Gemswell park setting, the facility features over 50 types of waves suited to all surfing levels. Each session lasts 1 hour and takes place outdoors in a safe, controlled environment, guaranteeing between 15 and 20 waves per session. Whether it's your first time or you've been surfing for years, there's a wave for you at Gemswell.
What's the minimum age allowed?
The minimum age is 6 years old.
What facilities are available at the venue?
The venue has three restaurants, two beach bars, a skatesurf area, changing rooms, infinity pools, shops and parking.
Are the facilities accessible for people with reduced mobility?
Yes, the facilities are adapted for people with reduced mobility.
Can you take photos at the venue?
Taking photos is allowed as long as you don't disturb other visitors.
Are pets allowed on the premises?
Pets aren't allowed, with the exception of assistance animals.
Is an artificial wave real surfing?
Yes. Gemswell uses Wavegarden technology to generate long, high-quality waves. Up to 50 types of waves are generated, from foam waves for beginners to barrel waves for the most experienced.
Don't know how to surf or what level you are?
Don't worry, there are waves for everyone. Gemswell Surf Madrid is designed both for those standing up for the first time and for experienced surfers.
How long does each surf session last?
Each surf session lasts 1 hour.
Do you need to bring your own equipment?
You can use our equipment, which is included in the price, or, if you prefer, bring your own.
Is it worth the price?
Yes. Compared to a trip to the coast, you save on travel and are guaranteed perfect waves every session, without depending on weather, wind or tides, along with a complete plan for a full day out.
What can I buy during the Early Bird?
You can buy a Bahía session or Reef bundles of 5, 10 or 20 sessions. Bahía is designed for those who have never surfed before or are just starting out. Reef is the area where the waves break, designed for those who already have confidence in the waves.
Do I choose the day and time when I buy?
No. During the pre-sale you buy your session or bundle, but you don't choose a date or time yet. We'll let you know when booking opens and send you instructions on how to choose your session. The purchase does not reserve a specific date or time.
Where will I book afterwards?
When the period for booking a date and time opens, you'll receive an email with the link and steps to redeem your voucher.
What equipment is included?
During the Early Bird, a non-premium board and wetsuit will be offered at no extra cost. This applies to both Bahía and Reef sessions.
Until when can I use my Early Bird voucher?
Your voucher is valid for 60 calendar days from the date the park opens to the public. We'll notify you by email of the opening date so you know when the period starts.
How do Early Bird vouchers work?
You choose and buy your session or bundle today (you don't need to choose a date or time right now). You book later: We'll email you when we open the booking system so you can choose the day and time you prefer using your code. All bundles and sessions are valid until 30 June 2027. If the park's opening date is delayed, this validity period will be extended proportionally.
Where can I get the Early Bird vouchers?
On the Fever app, available on Google Play and the Apple Store. On the Fever website.
Are purchases made during the Early Bird pre-sale refundable or returnable?
No, purchases made during the Early Bird pre-sale are not eligible for returns or refunds.
What happens after the Early Bird?
The special Early Bird price will only be available while stocks last, as vouchers are limited in number.
