Celebrating four years as Chicagoβs hottest alternative holiday show, The Buttcracker: A Nutcracker Burlesque subverts the classic ballet to promote diversity in body, gender expression, sexuality, and race. Featuring the best in burlesque, boylesque, drag, magic, sword balancing, ballet, and more, the show tells the story of Clara, the humble office admin, a believer in body and sex positivity. This show has been heralded as Chicago's "risque seasonal entertainment" (Time Out) and a "gender-fluid, body-positive manifesto" (Windy City Times).
