A Candlelight concert brings the songs of Olivia Dean to Adamstown Uniting Church in Newcastle, arranged for string quartet and played live in a space lit by hundreds of candles. An intimate evening to hear her music in a whole new way.

This concert experience is a tribute. It is not associated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the artist, their heirs or their official representatives.

    The church has its own car park, entered from Brunker Road, with designated accessible spaces. There is also plenty of on-street parking, plus a large car park a few minutes' walk away behind the Brunker Road shops, accessed via Date St.

    The venue is wheelchair accessible. Ramp access to the church and memorial hall is via the gate at the top of the car park, there is an accessible toilet on both floors and the car park has designated accessible spaces. Service animals are welcome.

What are the different ticket types?
There are four seating zones: Zone A (great visibility), Zone B (good visibility), Zone C (slightly restricted visibility) and Zone D (restricted visibility).
Can I buy tickets at the venue?
Tickets are not available for purchase at the venue. All tickets must be bought through the Fever app or website (www.feverup.com) before you arrive.
Can I book a ticket for my carer?
Guests who need assistance throughout the experience can apply for one free pass for their carer. You need a valid ticket before applying: once you have bought yours, contact us for more information.
Is there an age requirement for the event?
All guests must be 8 years old or older to attend. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Where can I find my ticket?
You'll find your ticket in the “Tickets” section of the Fever app, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. Remember to log in with the same method you used to buy it. Your QR code is also in your purchase confirmation email.
Can I change my ticket?
Subject to availability, you can change the date and/or time up to 48 hours before the start of your experience: contact us with your ticket ID. Refunds are not allowed under any circumstances. For more information, see our T&Cs.

How do I get to the venue?
Taxis and rideshare: Uber and DiDi can be booked through their apps. Public transport: buses run from Newcastle to Adamstown; check the local bus routes and timetables for the stop nearest Adamstown Uniting Church.
Is food served?
No, food is not served at the venue.
Can I bring animals?
Animals are not allowed, except for service animals.
Does the venue have disability access?
Yes. The car park has designated accessible parking spaces, and ramp access to the church and memorial hall is via the gate at the top of the car park. Out of respect for the musicians and the audience, you won't be able to leave your seat except in an emergency.
When should I arrive?
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the concert starts so you can be given a seat within the zone you bought. The concert starts on time and the audience must be seated beforehand. If you arrive late, you won't be allowed in, out of respect for the musicians and the audience.
Are the candles real? Are they flammable?
For everyone's safety, the candles are LED: they recreate the glow of a flame without real fire, so they don't burn and pose no risk.
Is there a dress code? What should I wear?
There is no dress code. We recommend dressing comfortably, in clothes suited to the season.
How are seats assigned? Can we sit together?
Seats are not numbered: they are assigned on arrival, first come first served, within the zone you purchased. To sit together, your whole group needs to arrive at the same time with tickets for the same zone.
