You’ll discover how Islington established itself as an entertainment hotspot, from a legendary clown, to the comic geniuses of music hall, early cinema and brilliant comedy writers. You'll also find out about the local pubs and comedy clubs that have launched the careers of so many famous modern day comedians. At the end of the walk, you're invited to a free comedy show at The Angel Comedy Club's The Bill Murray pub venue! What more could you ask for?

Relevant information:
- Everyone, regardless of age, is welcome on the "Funny Islington" guided walk but please be aware that if you also wish to attend a free comedy event at the Bill Murray venue following the walk, its bar and club is an adult environment. Under 18’s are not permitted after 9pm. This would include attending any shows starting from 8pm onwards. For shows earlier than 8pm, under 18’s must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
