About the venueEvent Deck at the Santa Monica Pier
Jutting into the Pacific at Ocean and Colorado, the Santa Monica Pier has been the heart of Santa Monica since 1909. Originally built as a public utility for the city, it has grown into a National Historic Landmark and one of the most photographed places in the world. Today the Pier is home to Pacific Park’s Pacific Wheel, carnival games, restaurants, treat shops, vendor carts, and street performers, plus free, community-focused programming like Locals’ Night and weekly history walking tours.
