Description
Oli himself says that entering an exhibition is like entering the artist’s mind. Adopting the concept of the imaginary museum formulated by Malraux, Oli’s Imaginary Museum follows this theory. From work to work, Oli unfolds a personal score, with each room representing an inner state: the shock of vocation and the ensuing doubts, the flash of inspiration, the confrontation with others’ gazes. Oli’s approach is multicultural, blending various geographic horizons and art forms: cinema, music, sport, contemporary art, popular culture, street art, and more. Here, all these influences carry equal weight; artistic hierarchies dissolve. Oli’s voice merges with those of the invited artists, but above all, each visitor gradually becomes an actor in the narrative: the imaginary museum becomes collective and universal.
