Our commitment to the planet
The goal of the Water Lantern Festival is to always leave places in a better state than we found them. In line with the "leave no trace" philosophy, we retrieve all lanterns after the event and even remove waste already present in the water. Our lanterns are 100% sustainable: they are made from biodegradable rice paper, wooden bases, and LED candles that are reused and recycled to reduce our environmental footprint.
