The Viennese collective TAKESHI’S CASHEW will release their new album, “Planet Odyssey 64,” on December 5, 2026. After touring the world with their first two albums, the band took a creative break and is now returning with a new sound. The band's previous analog "Cosmofunk" sound has been expanded to include electro influences. The six musicians experimented with old synthesizers, drew inspiration from vintage video game themes, and thus created a unique sonic universe.
