What would Cinderella be like if she lived in our days? She would probably be “Cervecienta”: she doesn’t clean chimneys, but she spends the day working hard; she doesn’t have an evil stepmother, but she does have a boss who’s much worse; and the glass slippers… better not talk about that, as there are bunions. In this stand-up, Nadín Din presents us with a very unconventional princess, more often found at the bar counter than in a palace, wearing a crown that can only be a “little crown” chilled and ready to go. A modern Cinderella, sharp-tongued, who talks to the darkness, never knows what to wear, and is very clear that marrying and having children… is better left to Snow White.
