Description
The French composer, singer and multi-instrumentalist Claire Pommet, known as Pomme, has announced her return to the country for the spring of 2027. After establishing herself as one of the most personal, magnetic and avant-garde voices in European pop-folk, the artist will include our venues in the tour presenting her fifth studio album, with stops on April 18 at Paral·lel 62 in Barcelona and April 19, 2027, at LAB in Madrid.
At 30 years old, Claire Pommet has become a true cultural icon. She stands out not only for her crystal-clear, minimalist and poetic voice, but also for taking full creative control of her compositions, lyrics and visual concepts to create an intimate journey full of sensitivity and beauty. Throughout her career, she has tackled personal and social issues without any filters (mental health, the climate crisis, isolation, feminism, and the structures of contemporary love), building a universe where the delicacy of acoustic folk, atmospheric synthesizers and orchestral arrangements coexist in perfect harmony.
The French artist's career began with the release of failles (2019), a stunning debut album focused on hypersensitivity that earned her the prestigious Victoires de la Musique award for Best New Album. This success and impact on the European music scene were consolidated in 2021 when she was crowned Best Female Artist of the Year at the same awards, paving the way for her acclaimed fourth album, consolation (2022), a work recorded in Canada that paid tribute to her female role models and led to successful international tours with sold-out venues. Recently, she has expanded her artistic career into the world of cinema by starring in Peau d'homme (the film adaptation of the popular graphic novel by Hubert and Zanzim), also collaborating on the soundtrack alongside American composer Bryce Dessner, co-founder of the rock band The National.
