The mystery of the evening: the body in the Louvre
1958, Paris, the post-war period. For years, Valerie La Voyante has been hosting a reception at the Louvre for all the important art historians.
Champagne is served, and waiters in chic attire circulate appetizers. No one from high society wants to miss this event.
Art-loving ladies and gentlemen come together to admire art. Everyone is celebrating exuberantly until Madame La Voyante announces the surprising news that the famous “Mona Lisa” is a forgery. The crowd is shocked. The police are immediately called in to investigate the matter thoroughly.
Just as the crowd begins to settle, even more shocking news follows: a body!
