1958, Paris, the post-war era. For years, Valerie La Voyante has been hosting a reception at the Louvre for all the important art historians.
Champagne is poured, and waiters in chic attire circulate with canapés. No one from high society wants to miss this event.
Art-loving ladies and gentlemen gather to admire the masterpieces. Everyone is celebrating exuberantly until Madame La Voyante announces to their shock that the famous “Mona Lisa” is a forgery. The crowd is stunned. The police are immediately called in to investigate the matter thoroughly.
Just as the crowd begins to settle, even more shocking news follows: a body!
