1958, Paris, the post-war era. For years, Valerie La Voyante has been hosting a reception at the Louvre for all the important art historians.
Champagne is served, and waiters in elegant attire bring around canapés. No one from high society wants to miss this event.
Art-loving ladies and gentlemen gather to admire masterpieces. Everyone is celebrating wildly until Madame La Voyante announces the shocking news that the famous “Mona Lisa” is a forgery. The crowd gasps. The police are immediately called in to investigate this matter thoroughly.
