At the Water Lantern Festival, our goal is to leave every location more beautiful than we found it. True to the "Leave No Trace" philosophy, we collect every single lantern after the event and even clear the water of any existing trash. Our lanterns are 100% sustainable: made from biodegradable rice paper, wooden bases, and LED candles that we recycle to minimize our ecological footprint.
