Description
Do you remember when the concept of technopop meant something? Luca Venezia, the person behind Curses, remembers perfectly. This German producer, musician, and DJ lives artistically and spiritually rooted in the late 70s when record labels like Mute Records, especially in Germany, or Factory Records in the UK glimpsed at the end of the tunnel a dancefloor with post-punk and industrial reflections.
That is the dancefloor Venezia continues to attend regularly with each release… and it has been almost fifteen years combining club electronics and rock sounds. Almost a decade and a half during which he even managed to seduce Johnny Jewel, the modern godfather of synth nostalgia, to release his third album, Another Heaven, on his Italians Do It Better label in 2024. Accompanied on stage by bassist Dame Bonnet, Venezia will present the live dimension of his project. Get your tickets for CURSES at Sala Nazca!
