1958, Paris, The Post-War Era. For years, Valerie La Voyante has been hosting a reception at the Louvre for all the important Art Historians. Champagne is served, and waiters in chic attire circulate with appetizers. No one from high society wants to miss this event.
Art-loving ladies and gentlemen come together here to admire art. Everyone is celebrating lavishly until Madame La Voyante announces the surprising news that the famous "Mona Lisa" is a forgery. The crowd is shocked. The police are immediately involved to get to the bottom of the case.
