Event Details
One of the world's greatest artists. Sixty years of work. Experienced at a scale that changes how you see. David Hockney's landmark immersive show – now extended through 31 August.
A Six-Decade Journey
From his early Yorkshire landscapes to his iPad paintings and beyond – six decades of David Hockney's work, brought to life through large-scale projection and spatial sound in a show made in close collaboration with the artist himself. This is Hockney at his most personal, most expansive, and most joyous.
Six Captivating Chapters
Six distinct chapters move through Hockney's restless imagination: his obsession with light, his reinvention of perspective, his embrace of new technologies, and his enduring belief that truly looking at the world is one of life’s great pleasures.
Music by Nico Muhly
The show's original score was composed by Nico Muhly, one of the most acclaimed composers of his generation. Sound and image work together to draw you deeper into Hockney's world.
