Step through the portal and back in time. 🧙‍♂️ Brought the boys to the Portals Fever Exhibition — and we happened to be the very first guests, so we got a private tour from Mr Scott Graham himself. What a way to open a Saturday. 13,000 sq ft of fantasy and sci-fi history: original paintings, thousands of hand-painted miniatures, classic book covers that shaped whole generations. Dune. Conan the Barbarian. Lord of the Rings. Lone Wolf. For me it was a full trip down memory lane. For the boys, hopefully the beginning of one. 90 minutes flew by — and we walked straight to Bras Basah after. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I will most probably visit again! I do have feedback on the music. I feel the sonic experience could be improved. The various soundtracks that were clashing I feel. Perhaps, less music tracks playing at the same time could make the audio experience more cohesive.

Such an amazing experience, visually stunning and brought such joy and wonderment!

If you are a fan of sci-fi and fantasy from the 80s and the 90s, this is the exhibition for you. Prepare to spend two hours here.

Worth the visit!

I must acknowledge that it is truly engaging and fascinating exhibitions in my recent experience. It will engage passionate audience of any age because it engages people and helps them them to make transition from being a mere audience to participants.
