Parquesvr arrives on November 28th, 2026 at the Sala Oasis in Zaragoza with a proposal that moves with equal naturalness between concert, performance, and ironic dissection of everything around them.
The Madrid-based band, with a name that almost sounds like a shopping centre in Leganés, has become one of the most singular projects in the recent Spanish scene. Their members are no strangers to this anti-business. The band's genealogy includes projects such as Sou Edipo, El Páramo, Fario, Persons and Escombro — a wealth of experience that accounts for much of their instrumental muscle. At the helm, Javi Ferrara commands the stage with a presence and personality that is impossible to forget.
Somewhere between punk tradition, spoken word, stoner, post-punk, and a very Madrid-style of lucid street swagger, Parquesvr has built a sound that works as a shock device. There are tense guitars, raw rhythms, phrases that seem to emerge from a conversation overheard in the early hours, and a sense of spectacle that never fully settles. Their songs blend sarcasm, social critique, uncomfortable humour, and a live energy that turns every performance into something far beyond a mere set of songs.
Following a trajectory marked by irreverence and their own way of understanding contemporary rock, the band continues to expand their universe with new songs and an ever sharper live show. Their recent fourth album, Mitos y leyendas, confirms this evolution towards a more expansive language without giving up the bite, the absurdity, or the edge that runs through their repertoire.
