Description
When classical music meets Hollywood, soundscapes full of nostalgia, emotion, and grand stories are created.

The program “Echoes of Hollywood” is dedicated to the fascinating connection between the European concert tradition and the dream factory. Composers such as Erich Wolfgang Korngold, one of the most influential film composers of the classical Hollywood era, brought late-Romantic richness and operatic passion to the big screen. Works by Samuel Barber, whose music is famous for its lyrical intensity, as well as by Fritz Kreisler, the legendary Viennese violinist and master of elegant salon music, also reflect that colorful musical world that has shaped both the concert hall and film history.

From 5:15 PM, we invite you to enjoy a welcome drink – a moment to arrive and set the mood for the evening. The concert begins at 6:00 PM.

If the weather is good, we will then end the evening with a Meet & Greet in the garden of Palais Zögernitz. 🌿✨
