Description
After a controversial international football match costs a nation its chance to qualify for the World Cup, an elite referee stands accused of changing the outcome of the game. While the referee’s decisions could be justified by the rulebook, in the moments leading up to the most decisive calls, unusual betting activity caught the attention of fans, fueling suspicions that something was not right. What began as a routine internal review quickly spiraled out of control: fans were furious, protests broke out, and parts of the stadium were damaged.
In this immersive courtroom experience, you are sworn in as a juror tasked with deciding whether the referee’s personal problems were enough to influence his decisions. When millions of fans believe a match was decided by the referee’s calls, where does responsibility begin and end? When suspicion spreads without proof, who should be held responsible? There is no smoking gun. No clear precedent. Only the weight of controversy — and your verdict.
