Description
Fernando Delgadillo is the creator of the “informal song,” a style that mixes humor, everyday life, and poetry. This Mexican singer-songwriter has spent the last 30 years composing and performing songs across Latin America. He enjoys recognition from a diverse audience, including long-time followers and younger fans, mostly university students. Throughout his career, Fernando has recorded over fifteen albums. Each year he performs in cities across Mexico, in small venues as well as theaters and auditoriums. In May 2016, he shared the stage with Cuban troubadour Pablo Milannés(+) and protest singer Óscar Chávez(+) in the concert titled “De poeta a poeta,” which sold out the Auditorio Nacional. He performs annual concerts at Parque Naucalli in his hometown of Naucalpan, recording the double live album *Febrero 13*, and in 2022 he appeared for the first time at the Vive Latino Festival.

Alejandro Filio is a Mexican singer-songwriter, poet, and musician recognized internationally. A prominent artist of the movement known as “Canto nuevo,” he is one of the most influential contemporary trova singers in Mexico. With over 40 years of experience, his work is distinguished by a poetic approach and deep social and romantic sensitivity. Filio defines himself as a troubadour who lives by what he writes, interpreting the popular sentiment. He was the first Spanish-speaking artist alongside Fernando Delgadillo to perform at the Beijing International Television Festival.
