 Travel times may be substantially longer due to nationwide eclipse traffic. Delays of several hours are possible.

Due to the total solar eclipse on 12 August, significant nationwide traffic is expected across Iceland. Guests travelling on this date should anticipate extended journey times, delays of up to 14 hours are possible along the primary route into Hellissandur.

By purchasing a shuttle pass, you acknowledge that travel times may be substantially longer than usual. Iceland Eclipse is not responsible for delays caused by traffic congestion, road conditions, or eclipse-related travel volumes.
