Santiago, Chile will host one of the FIH Hockey World Cup 2026 Qualifiers, also known as Premundial, the decisive stage that defines the last teams qualified for the next World Cup to be held in Belgium and the Netherlands in August 2026.

Description
From March 1 to 8, 2026, the Chilean capital will gather top-level teams in a high-performance tournament full of emotion and international competition where every match counts. In this qualifier, eight women's teams and eight men's teams will compete for one of three direct spots in the planet's premier event. The teams that finish first, second, and third will secure their qualification directly (the fourth could qualify if it has a better ranking than the fourth-placed team in the parallel Premundial).
