Highlights
🌊 The first in the series, Living Waters, presents four experiential journeys themed around water and the beauty of aquatic nature:

• Seeing Echoes in the Mind of the Whale by Marshmallow Laser Feast: The signature work of the journey, this video installation explores how cetaceans perceive sound through scientific data and immersive imagery. Visitors follow the bottlenose dolphin, humpback whale, and sperm whale in a voyage between the surface and the depths, revealing their unique ways of exploring and communicating underwater. North American premiere.
• TADPOLES: The Big Little Migration by Maxwell Hohn: A documentary capsule revealing the daily migration of millions of western toad tadpoles, filmed over four years in an isolated lake in British Columbia. A rare look at a spectacular and fragile natural phenomenon.
• Entrer en flagrant délit de légender by Maryse Goudreau: Maryse Goudreau revisits four decades of beluga-related news, combining media headlines and archival photographs. Her work thoughtfully examines how narratives and images shape our perception of living beings.
• Hong Kong Soup: 1826 by Mandy Barker: This photographic series brings together plastic waste collected on Hong Kong beaches, exposing the scale of an ongoing environmental crisis. Barker creates visually striking compositions that evoke both fascination and awareness. Canadian premiere.
