The artists bringing this journey to life:
Jochen Seiterle studied musicology and political science in Heidelberg. He is a member of The Busters and has produced CDs with Silke Hauck, Curry as well as music for the film Die Hochzeitskuh and theater productions for Stadttheater Heidelberg, Staatstheater Dortmund and TiG7 Mannheim. He co-founded Limbus[Club], has a record deal with Sony, appeared on numerous TV shows, and won the German Children's Music Award in 2017. His musical range spans jazz, pop, flamenco jazz, electrotango and klezmer.

Christof Keller is a composer, synthesist and double bassist from Heidelberg. Recommended by festival director Rainer Kern as “Album of the Month” and “like a wise, attentive conversation… full of inspiring turns,” his debut album Garden Path (MuZi, 2022) premiered at the Enjoy Jazz Festival and received international attention. He has a long-standing collaboration with guitarist Jochen Seiterle, including through the Limbus[Club]. His new studio album will be released in 2026.

Saxophonist Olaf Schönborn, based in Ludwigshafen, studied jazz at the Mannheim University of Music and at Arizona State University (USA). His projects range from swing trios to world-music ensembles (Xiaomei Deng International Ensemble), saxophone quartets (FINEFONES), soul and funk bands, Brazilian music (Cocada), big band (Kicks’n Sticks) and even tap dance collaborations (Melody, Rhythm & Tap). He has released numerous CDs, including with Sarah Kaiser, the Fritz Münzer Tentet, the Rainer Tempel BigBand, the legendary American drummer Allen Blairman, and with his band Jazz X Change on BLUE NOTE RECORDS. In 2000, he co-founded the highly acclaimed labels JAZZ’n’ARTS RECORDS and RODENSTEIN RECORDS.

Jan Wilke is a composer, organist and pianist from Heidelberg. His works combine influences from Anglican choral tradition, film music and minimal music, and are performed regularly in Germany and abroad. As an organist, he accompanies concerts and film projects with an improvisational and atmospheric musical style.

Lily & Co is a charming and musically outstanding family band. Mother Julia and her three daughters Sophie, Amy and Lily Vardigans come from England and have been playing together for 25 years. Julia Vardigans is a professional musician known for her sophisticated, refined and original arrangements of a diverse repertoire—from film themes, Beatles, blues, jazz, classical music, and especially Celtic folk. The band performs on violins, flutes, penny whistle, guitar, ukulele, mandolin, cello and cajón.
