Discussion: Building Body Parts

Discussion: Building Body Parts

A way to engage your brain in the local boozer! Out with lager louts and in with beer brainiacs! The Pint of Science festival aims to deliver interesting and relevant talks on the latest science research in an accessible format to the public – all in the pub! This talk at The Horseshoe Inn is delves into limb development, regenerative medicine and reconstruction. There'll be two discussions, the first being held by Malcolm Logan, Professor of Regenerative Biology, which zones in on the regeneration of limbs. The second topic explores physical reconstruction of the hand and is held by Bran Sivakumar, Leading Congential Hand Surgeon at the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. Cheers to that! Stimulate your liquor-starved neurons at the pub with a Pint of Science!
