1958, Paris, The Post-War Era. For years, Valerie La Voyante has been hosting a reception at the Louvre for all the important Art Historians. Champagne is served, and waiters in chic attire circulate with canapés. No one from high society wants to miss this event.
Keen art lovers gather to admire the masterpieces. Everyone is celebrating lavishly until Madame La Voyante announces to everyone’s surprise that the famous Mona Lisa is a forgery. The crowd is stunned. The police are immediately called in to get to the bottom of the case.
