The Mystery of the Evening: The Body in the Louvre
1958, Paris, the Post-War Years. For years, Valerie La Voyante has been hosting a reception at the Louvre for all the important Art Historians. Champagne is served, and waiters in fancy attire circulate with snacks. No one from the high society wants to miss this event.
Art-loving ladies and gentlemen gather here to admire the art. Everyone is celebrating exuberantly—until Madame La Voyante announces the startling news that the famous “Mona Lisa” has been forged. The crowd is shocked. The police are immediately involved to get to the bottom of this case.
As the crowd calms down, even more shocking news follows: A body!
