Description
"Acelerado" is Rodrigo Lussich's first solo comedy show: a fast-paced performance aimed at making sure the audience doesn't stop laughing. Like in basketball, where the ball must keep bouncing, here the ball can never touch the ground, meaning the guy never slows the pace for a single second. He delivers a dynamic, breathless routine where anecdotes blend together: from his hippie childhood among artists from Uruguay and Brazil, his move to Argentina, to his current life as a showman on TV, in theatre and on social media.
A small-town adolescence full of drama, his beginnings in the industry, and a key aspect that anyone can relate to: with no filters and very off-beat humour, Lussich shares how he came out and his first steps in the LGBTQ community. His first girlfriends, gay flings, and how his family reacted, which is quite a story. The passing years, travels, being an artist, incredible anecdotes, and the comedian's greatest talent: being a natural storyteller who pulls you right into the heart of things with relentless punchlines, unexpected twists, and that closeness you feel as soon as the show begins. The man up on stage is one of the gang, the neighbour, the mate or the cousin of anyone; you won't see an untouchable minor celebrity from Argentine TV, but a regular guy who makes you feel like his experiences are everyone's, whether you're here or on the other side of the world.
