Every evening, an impressive choir does a live performance. They passionately perform classical and modern arrangements, while images, stories, and voices come together to create an intense experience.

On selected evenings, the show will be performed by orchestra and choir together. This is the ultimate experience—a compelling concert in which every note and projection are perfectly coordinated. Only on these dates will you experience the full symphonic power.

THE STORY
Almost a thousand years of history come to life in the Oude Kerk in Delft. From its origins in the 11th century, the church takes you through the construction of the iconic tower and disasters such as the great city fire of 1536. Time and again, she prevailed – a symbol of resilience and faith.

The journey takes you through Dutch history: the Iconoclastic Fury and the Reformation, William of Orange and the Eighty Years' War, the birth of the Republic, and the heyday of the Golden Age with greats such as Johannes Vermeer.

Today, its story still echoes in bells, windows, and organs. Luminescence is a compelling journey through darkness and light—an ode to Delft and to the Netherlands.
