Opening: Ruiner Art

Opening: Ruiner Art

No, not "ouch." It's pronounced ooh-woo-chi. Ouchi is Japanese for "home" or "house." The gallery is named Ouchi because it displays artwork by contemporary Japanese artists in a home-like setting. This show features Ruiner, an artist native to Japan who uses a panoply of colors and Photoshop effects to depict people and objects in fervent detail. The majority of his work involves salon logo design, signage, album covers, and theater posters.
