About the venueFinlayson Church

Finlayson Church in Tampere, Finland, is a Gothic Revival red-brick church built in 1879 for the Finlayson cotton mill workers. Designed by architect Frans Ludvig Calonius, its layout is inspired by English Congregationalist churches, with distinctive interior features like the pulpit and organ located behind the altar. The church’s rich history and unique architecture make it a local cultural landmark.
