Summer Stage: The Opera

Summer Stage presents the Opera Metropolitan Series. Mary-Jane Lee, Ginger Costa-Jackson, Yunpeng Wang & Dan Saunders will be performing live. Mary-Jane Lee has received awards from the Met’s National Council Auditions. Ginger Costa-Jackson is a graduate of the Met’s Lindemann Young Artist Development Program. Yunpeng Wang was a first prize–winner in the Alan M. and Joan Taub Ades Vocal Competition at the Manhattan School of Music in 2013. Dan Saunders is increasingly well known to audiences around the world as an accomplished conductor and pianist. An assistant conductor to James Levine and Seiji Ozawa and a recitalist with many of the world's finest soloists, he served as the associate conductor of the Virginia Opera from 2000 until 2006 and is currently an assistant conductor with the Met.
