Musical accompaniment
Wolfgang Abendroth is the church music director at St John's Church in Düsseldorf. He has played the large Beckerath organ for more than 20 years, directs the adult choirs at Düsseldorf's largest Protestant church and organises the concert life of the city church. He coordinates the Protestant church music programmes in the city and teaches organ improvisation at the Cologne University of Music.
