Description
The Bombas Gens building, fully refurbished in 2014 by the Fundació Per Amor a l'Art, invites you to explore its historical and contemporary spaces through a guided tour. While it houses the Digital Arts Center, Bombas Gens is much more than that. Before or after visiting the digital arts exhibition, you can join a guided tour to discover the history of this remarkable heritage site in Valencia. This space includes an old hydraulic pump factory with a stunning Art Deco façade from the 1930s, an air raid shelter from the Spanish Civil War, which serves as a reminder that mortar bombs were manufactured here during that period, a fully restored 15th-century wine cellar, and a Mediterranean garden filled with over 120 plant species.
