Written during his epic and productive year of composing chamber music, Robert Schumann’s Piano Quartet is the perfect way to celebrate the arrival of spring. This iconic piece is full of life and freshness, and also contains one of the most beautiful slow movements ever composed. Robert Schumann's wife, Clara, was “delighted by this work so beautiful and full of youth,” which was first performed in their living room in April 1843!
